Welcome to my teaching website.  This year marks my fifth decade teaching students of all levels, from total beginners to touring pros, as well as my third decade coaching other freelance teachers.

My experience as an active performer, composer, recording artist, and bandleader will generate new insights for you, as will my training in time management principles, physical re-training modalities, as well as neuro-linguistic and Buddhist concepts. 

My Berkeley music studio is centrally located (and close to the freeway).  It’s fully equipped with a studio-quality grand piano and drum set, percussion from around the world, and an extensive sheet music and CD library.
